Scratch & Win: How Bruna Achieved 80% Opt-In
A sweepstake is a powerful way to increase customer loyalty—while also generating valuable leads. That’s exactly what Bruna did in collaboration with Staatsloterij. For six weeks, a nationwide campaign ran in all Bruna stores. With every purchase, customers received a scratch card with a unique code to participate.

How does scratch & win work?
First, customers scratched their card to reveal a unique code. Then, they visited brunakrasenwin.nl to enter the code and submit a short digital entry form. By doing so, they had a chance to win one of 350 prizes worth a total of €10,000.
The prize pool included 100 Staatsloterij tickets and Bruna gift cards ranging from €5 to €400!
The results? Impressive.
A total of 31,717 people participated in the campaign. Of those, 80% gave commercial opt-in consent—allowing both Bruna and Staatsloterij to contact them later via phone or newsletter. A remarkable result, far exceeding the initial lead generation goal.
