The 'trots op onze Veste' Lottery
During the COVID-19 pandemic, FC Twente wanted to keep its club members engaged while also raising funds for the maintenance of its stadium, De Grolsche Veste. To achieve this, the club organized a lottery.
Each ticket offered a chance to win amazing prizes. The ticket price was a fun nod to the club’s founding year: €19.65. Thanks to the club’s sponsors, the prize pool was worth over €80,000 and included a Volkswagen Polo, a football trip, season tickets, and a meet & greet with a first-team player.
The campaign gained huge traction, and the winners were announced in a YouTube video.
