Stronger Together: Olympus ’70 Funds RaceRunners with Lottery
The Olympus lottery raised funds to purchase three RaceRunners, empowering athletes with physical disabilities to participate in sport.
Athletics club Olympus '70 organized their own digital lottery via the Lotify platform to purchase RaceRunners. These specialized running frames enable children and adults with physical disabilities to move independently by walking or running. RaceRunning is a para-athletics sport where the RaceRunner serves as an assistive device, similar to a sports wheelchair. For some participants, this is one of the few opportunities to engage in sports.
A specific goal
The fundraising lottery was linked to a single, clear goal, ensuring that ticket buyers knew exactly how their contributions would be used. Thanks to the proceeds, three RaceRunners worth approximately €2,500 each were purchased.
Social impact for sport clubs
80% of every ticket sold directly contributed to the RaceRunners for Olympus '70.
